When it came time for me to propose, I knew that the very first thing I needed to do was to get an engagement ring. Now, because my lady is no ordinary lady, I knew I was going to take as much time as necessary to find a beautiful engagement ring for her. I think she is a one of a kind person, and it was really important to me to find an engagement ring that was just as special as I think she is.

Since I wanted to get a really great ring, I didn’t spend much time shopping in any regular jewelry stores. Although jewelry stores do offer great engagement rings, I had a strong feeling that they wouldn’t be carrying the type of ring that I was looking for.

In addition to shopping in some smaller jewelry boutiques, I decided to go check out an antique store. As I was shopping in one of these stores, I came across an antique diamond engagement ring, and realized that it was exactly what I had been looking for. The ring was beautiful, and my fiancee was really happy when I gave it to her.
